CAMDEN – Funeral service for Clinton Heyward Williams, 84, will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Joe Stines and the Rev. Richard Cameron will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001. Mr. Williams passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Clinton Williams and Nettie Sheffield Faile. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He retired from DuPont. Mr. Williams enjoyed baseball, college football and was an avid Clemson fan. He also enjoyed model airplanes. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Virginia Cassady Williams; daughter, Wendy Williams Schuhe (Jerry) of Arnold, Calif.; sons, Aaron Williams (Anna) of Ridgeway and Trampes Williams (Laura) of Camden; and sister, Charlene Lineberger (Earl) of Charlotte, N.C.
