LIBERTY HILL – A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Willa Bivins Moore, 87, will be held on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, S.C. A funeral service with burial will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary and Cemetery in Bakersfield, Calif. on Saturday, Nov 21, 2015. Mrs. Moore, wife of the late James Oren Moore, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Born in Bakersfield, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Cregg Alan and Hazel Hightower Bivins. She enjoyed her church and she loved to sing but her main focus was always her family. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela M. Marshall (Richard) of Liberty Hill; daughter-in-law, Alice T. Moore; 6 grandchildren, Holly, James, Tricia, Lindsay, Joe and Benjamin; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Charles L. Moore; sister, June B. Candelaria; and brother, Donald C. Bivins.
