PORT ORANGE, FL – Funeral services for Martha Nolan Miller, 88, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Camden, or the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Hospice. Mrs. Miller, wife of the late Fred Arthur Miller, Jr., passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Born in Fayetteville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Reese and Tallulah Spratlin Nolan. Mrs. Miller was the former president of the Hospital Auxiliary of Coco Beach, FL and a former member of the board of directors of the YMCA of Daytona Beach. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and playing bridge, and loved animals. Surviving are her sister, Adell Haulbrook of Camden; nieces and nephews, Susan Fariss (Gregory), Jeanette Haulbrook, and Timmi Jernigan (Steve); great-nieces and nephews Jennifer Hardy (Lamar), Laura Sikes (Jody), Walter Whetstone, Courtney Baldwin (Steven), Kristen Greeson, Jordan Fariss, Jessica Jernigan, and James Jernigan; great-great nieces and nephews, Linda Grace Hardy, Walter Hardy, Nathaniel Baldwin, Silas Baldwin, Ruby Greeson and Ellie Sikes; and a beloved pet, Tinkerbell. She was predeceased by a niece, Linda Whetstone; and great great-nephews, Jared Sikes and Jackson Sikes.
