LUGOFF – Funeral services for John Albert Hill, Jr., 71, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hill passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late John A. Hill Sr. and Catherine Burket Hill. Mr. Hill enjoyed fishing and working on cars. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Ella Bell Brooks Hill; children, Ralph Hill of Lugoff, Angela Hill of Lugoff, Dennis Hill of Lugoff, and Lisa Hill of Lugoff; sisters, Catherine Hill, Louvina Hill, Ula Hill, and Carolyn Hill; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Hill; and brothers, Robert, Charlie, Michael and James Hill.
