COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Remedios Padua Henderson, 65, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Mitch Prossor will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Henderson, wife of the late Larry Keith Henderson, Sr., passed away Sunday, November 01, 2015. Born in Manila, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Honesto and Leonor Dacuycuy Padua. Mrs. Henderson enjoyed being a grandmother and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Larry “L.K.” Henderson, Jr. of Columbia, Lillian “Kathy” Knight (Garrett) of Elgin, Lincoln “Kent” Henderson (Rachell) of Lexington; brothers, Mike Padua and Peter Padua; sisters, Fran Self and Josie Hilton (Joe); and grandchildren, Taylor Barber, Grayson Barber, Aidan Henderson, Evan Henderson, Katie Henderson, Gabrielle Knight, and Gillian Knight.
