LUGOFF – Gwendolyn Griner Pazel, 80, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Born on July 9, 1932, she was the daughter of Verdie B. Griner, Adele, Ga. She attended Lees-McRae College in North Carolina and traveled extensively during her husband 30 year military career. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Louis Pazel; son, Terry Pazel of Lugoff; and brother, Delmas Griner of Madison, Fla. She was predeceased by a sister, Caroline Allen. Powers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A private service will be held at a later date.
