CAMDEN – Graveside Service for William E. “Billy” Rush, Jr., 73, will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Camden, or a charity of one’s choice. Mr. Rush passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late William E. and Ruth Huckabee Rush, Sr. Mr. Rush was a member of First Baptist Church, Camden, where he served as the secretary of the Couples Sunday School Class. He retired from DuPont and coached little league baseball for the Kershaw County Recreation Department. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Hendrix “Bobbi” Rush; daughter, Karen R. Knight (Tracy); and grandchildren, Alex Knight and Erin Knight. He was predeceased by a sister, Beth R. Blackmon; and a brother, Max G. Rush.
