CHARLOTTE, NC - Richard Wesley Hough, 56, died after a brief illness on October 13, 2015 in Charlotte, NC. He was born June 29, 1959 in Camden, SC to Harold Woellner Hough and Elizabeth Pitts Hough. After graduating from Camden High School in 1977, he completed Clemson University as a Professional Civil Engineer. He was employed with Duke Energy and Areva, Inc. in Charlotte, NC. He married Olga Grushchenko on June 5, 2003. Richard is survived by his wife, and son, Jacob Richard Hough, sister Mary Louise Robinson, three brothers, Albert Hough (Angela), George Hough, Joel Hough, two nieces, and three nephews Visitation will be Sunday 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, SC. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in the family Jeter Cemetery near Union, SC.
