LUGOFF – Funeral services for Andria Kennington “Ann” McCallister will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Family friend Ricky Rabon will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. McCallister passed away Monday, September 7, 2015. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late James D. and Aylene Walden Kennington. Mrs. McCallister retired from Pulliam Ford and was a member of First Baptist Church, Lugoff. She devoted herself to caring for her family and pets, as well as bettering the lives of stray animals in her community. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, David Michael McCallister; son James Donald McCallister (Jennifer) of West Columbia; sister, Becky Rabon (Alvin) of Lugoff; brother, James D. “Bubba” Kennington (Valerie) of Lugoff; nephews, Chris (Genise) of Lexington and Matt (Katie) of Columbia; niece, Shannon of Lugoff; grand-nephew, Christian; grand-niece, Olivia; and her beloved companion, Kodi. The family extends a special thanks to Compassionate Care Hospice for their loving care.
