LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Margarette Bailey Tyson, 54, will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Mrs. Tyson passed away on Saturday, September 05, 2015. Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Raymond Haynes and Agnes Labiby Roukos Bailey. She enjoyed antiquing, collecting memorabilia, learning about ancient Egypt, drag racing and jewelry making. She was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Ian Tyson; sister, Deborah R. Bailey (Bill Rozier) of Camden; and nieces, Kristen Rozier and Kimberly Rozier; and nephew, Jack Rozier.
