CAMDEN- Funeral services for James Franklin Knotts, 77, will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Camden Seventh-day Adventist Church with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Steve McCoy will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Knotts, husband of the late Joan Knotts, passed away Monday, August 11, 2015. Born in Pageland, he was a son of the late James W. and Nellie Miles Knotts. Mr. Knotts was a member of the Camden Seventh-day Adventist Church. He loved his church and was a faithful member. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his daughter, Linda Mitchell of CO; sisters, Johnsie Sellers (Micheal) of Camden, Betty Bendus of FL, Frances Burdett of AL; brother, James Knotts, Jr. (Pat) of FL; granddaughter, Michelle Carmerse of CO; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Sue Goff.
