ELGIN – Funeral services for Linda Sanders Gantt, 68, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, Lugoff. The Rev. Dr. Charles Everett will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 – 8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Gantt died Friday, January 04, 2013. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille Branham Sanders. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she was a part of the Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband of 17 years, Brodie F. Gantt; son, John Wayne Gulledge (Viviana) of West Columbia; brother, Jimmy Sanders, (Ann) of Little Mountain; grandchildren, Amber McDowell (Eric), Robert Allen Gulledge II (Julie), John Wayne Gulledge Jr., Ashley Kelly Kroenig (Robert), Pedro Sharpe, Chloe Sims, and Victoria Sims; and a great-grandchild, Alana Gulledge. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Allen Gulledge; and sister, Connie Mello.
