LUGOFF – Funeral services for Courtney Maria Jackson Hudson, 27 will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Courtney, wife of the late John Randall “Randy” Hudson passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Stacy and Michelle Walker Jackson. Courtney enjoyed traveling with her husband, including cruises and trips to the mountains, and spending time with thier family. Surviving are her parents, Stacy and Michelle Jackson of Elgin; brothers, Christopher Walker of Columbia, Chip Walker of Columbia; sisters, Chelsea Seals (Matt) of Camden, Cassie Vanhoose of Cassatt; parental grandmother, Pansy Jackson; maternal grandparents, Matt and Patsy Walker; maternal step-grandfather, Ronnie Kelley; nieces, Autum Cornell, Abigale Vanhoose, and Paisley Jackson; nephew, Christopher Walker; and several aunts and uncles including Terry Jackson. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Leroy Jackson; and her maternal grandmother, Diana Kelley.
