LUGOFF – Funeral services for John Randall “Randy” Hudson, 29, will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Randy, husband of the late Courtney Jackson Hudson, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Charles and Jonnie Strange Kuykendall. Randy enjoyed traveling with his wife, including cruises and trips to the mountains, and spending time with their family. Surviving are his parents, Charles and Jonnie Kuykendall of Elgin; sisters, Ashley McClive (Dustin) of Columbia, Taylor Kuydendall of Elgin; maternal grandparents, John and Faye Strange; aunts, Tina Blevins (Marvin) of Elgin, Tammi Strange of Elgin; an uncle, Tony Strange (Sara) of Tybee Island, GA; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
