LUGOFF – Graveside service for Carrol Eugene Kelly, 86, will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Olympia Cemetery, Columbia. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to service at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Kelly, husband of the late Betty Ilona Adams Kelly, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Ernest and Ethel Alice Chavis Kelly. He served in the United States Navy and retired from J. Stewart Rawls Painting. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing and loved to make people laugh. Surviving are his sons, Michael Kelly of Elgin and Bruce Kelly (Kitty) of Lugoff; daughters, Angela Bozeman of Columbia and Lynnda Niles (Jimmy) of Columbia; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 3 sisters; and a grandson.
