EASTOVER – Funeral services for Percy Steve Moore, 51, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Baptist Church, Rembert. Pastor Nathan Scott and Pastor Jack Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Moore passed away Monday, July 20, 2015. Born in Rembert, he was a son of J.D. Moore and Margie Ann Hart. Mr. Moore was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers, doing yardwork and was always there to help others in need, especially family, friends or strangers. Surviving are his father, J.D. Moore; mother, Margie Ann Hart; sisters, Catherine Crain (Robert), Nellie Hodge (Ron) and Loretta Young (Patrick); brother, James Earl Moore; nephews, Rosco Wright (Debbie) and Patrick Jon Young; niece, Kristina Sprague; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, John David Moore, Jr.
