ELGIN - Memorial service for Maude Cleo Lawson, 92, will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Lawson, wife of the late Charles Lawson, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Born in Sevier County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late James and Hannah English Myers. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Surviving are her sons, Bob Jones of Camden, and Kenneth N. Jones of Lebanon, Pa.; brothers, Creighton Myers and Roy Myers, both of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Max Jones.
