I didn't know Faye, but I got to know Missy and her wonderful family when they would visit South Carolina each summer to visit. My sympathy goes to them as I see from earlier post that they have lost a wonderful mother and grandmother.

I'm so sorry that I've only just learned of Faye's
passing. She was a special lady and a dear friend for many years to me and especially to my
former wife Joyce, who was claimed by cancer in 2005. I know they are together now and catching up on old times. We shared many good times, and took joy in watching our children grow. I fondly remember the night that Joyce was so proud to be able to marry Faye and Gary at a nice little ceremony at our home in Columbia, followed, of course, by much shaggin and merriment with family and friends.
It will be a happy day when we're all together again.

Missy, your mother missed you but she was so very very proud of you, do not forget that. Please come come often again as you have you have aunts and cousins who love you dearly. Fay was the quiet one and loverd her children very much, Kay is not as quiet but apreciates her family and I hope she is still my beautican. Dennis is the quiet one also and the love of his mother heart. Vickie makes up for all of them, there is only one Vicky in the world. Missy always remember how much your mother loved you. You came home to see her more than others may have right in Camden.

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of your wife Faye. I know the Lord will uphold you through this difficult time. It has been a long time since we have seen you. If you get back to Dover sometime, stop in and see us. We are retired and our sons and their families are doing the farming. Harold has Parkinson's and has difficulty walking. Last evening we were reminiscing about how you helped Harold on the milkroute. Those were good days, even tho you wanted to ride on the back of the milk truck sometimes! Please give our love to the family and know that we are praying. God Bless all of You. Harold and Lucille Steel.

To Vicky and the family of my best friend through 12 years of school. I am so sorry for your loss. This special lady and I spent our younger days playing in the sand box together then as teenagers spent almost every weekend at each others houses. As high school stundents what innocent mischief we did get into. My favorite memory is Faye, my best friend, helping teach my boyfriend, then later husband of 40 years, Albert Daniels, to dance for our senior prom. Even though over the years we had lost touch, I will always love her and cherish the memories. She always had the quickest smile and could always make me smile. I will keep all of you in my prayes. God Bless.

To the children, my heart goes out to you. You have the precious memory of a great mother and grandmother. Faye loved life! To Vickie, Dennis and Kay, the precious sister, oh How I know it hurts, and we'll never understand all of this but please know, try to concentrate on the good times and there were many. Cancer is so ugly...it takes our young and leaves us with such a void. We have assurance of seeing her again, She'll have her Mama again. She'll find Marsha and they will wait on all of us. I love you all,and my deepest sympathy to you all.

Lisa my prayers are with you and your father during this time. Your stepmom is in a better place and is no longer suffering. Scripture states that you should "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path."
