Obituary of Annie Mae Keitt

LUGOFF – Funeral services to celebrate the life of Annie Mae Keitt, 61, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Charles Davis will officiate. The family will start receiving friends Thursday at 1876 Springvale Rd, Lugoff, SC. Ms. Keitt passed away on July 1, 2015 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was a daughter of the late James Johnson and Willie Mae Johnson. She was the head cook for the Western Sizzlin’ for over 14 years, and was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, dancing and decorating. Surviving are her devoted companion and lifelong partner of 37 years, Raymond Murphy; children, Sheria Stallings (Charles), Sherice Keitt (Joseph), Carl Keitt (Zakeia), and Felicia Keitt (Mohamed) all of N.Y., Raymond Keitt (Martine) of LA; Kendell Keitt (Renee), Kenny Keitt, and Ilicia Keitt all of Lugoff; a brother, Reginald Johnson of N.Y; 24 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.
