Dearest Windy and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of the illness and passing of your father. There are few losses in life as difficult as the loss of a father's love. You and your family are going through such a trying time. All of you have my deepest sympathy. This is a loss that you will not get over but with God's grace, the love and support of each other and your friends you, will get through it. As time goes by you will be able to handle it a little easier. You will always cherish your memories and times you have all had with him. They will become even more precious as time goes by. His love for you was so easy to see each time you were together. This was so evident in the slide presentation of him with all of the family. I hope you have an oppertunity to have it put on CD's so your mom, all of you and the grandchildren can visit with him often.
Please let me know what I can do to help you and your family at any time. I am always here for you.
With much love,
Ruth Bullard

Windy and family, When we returned from our trip we were so sorry to hear that your beloved Dad had died. His struggle is now over, but he lives on in your hearts and minds. The pain of your grief will lessen with time, but your fond memories will remain and ultimately will provide you comfort and peace.
Please know we stand ready to help you and Michael and Taylor and Erica, as well as other family members, in any way we can - you only need to ask. God bless you.

I can't imagine how hard this must be for all of you; I know that he meant the world to you all. It was special to see the pictures of your Dad. It is obvious that you all meant the world to him also. You all remain in my prayers.

I would like to tell you what Paw,Paw meant to me as his daughter in law. After my dad died he took on the role as my surrgate dad. He has been there for me in so many ways. Anytime I had a question about anything, such as the yard or birds or especially the garden he always had the answers. If I could say thank you I would thank you for all the wisdom you have instilled in me over the years. When Jason wanted to join the service you talked to him and he changed his mind, thank you so much for that. Thank you for being tough on Roy and me over the years. continued:

BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to loose you,
but you did not go alone.
For parts of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
