LUGOFF – Funeral service for Thomas Harvey LeGrand, 91, will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dean Reynolds will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. LeGrand passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Lonnie T. LeGrand and Gertrude Medlin LeGrand. He served in the United States Army Air Corp and retired after many years in sales. He was a member of Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church and was a Mason. Surviving are his wife, Erline M. LeGrand; daughter Gloria Sullivan Pruitt of Columbia; step-son, Bernie Adkins (Corey) of Columbia; stepdaughter, Linda Sue Frye (Phillip) of Blythewood; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
