LUGOFF – Funeral service for Marian Arlene Doner Auker, 86, will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Springvale Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Auker passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Born in Harrisburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert Doner and Mae Rimel Doner. She was a member of Springvale Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Donald Eugene Auker Sr.; children, Joe Auker (Jackie), Becky Peterson (Tim), Jeff Auker (Carlene), Sherry Roberts (Ricky), Kim Hudson, Tammy Humphries (Rickey), Cecil Owens (Johnny), and Georgia Lanning (Ronald); 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family extends a special thanks to Abbey Road Hospice especially Beverly Cassady for their loving care.
