LUGOFF – Funeral service for Elke Elisabeth Gregor, 70, will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. The Rev. Paul Miles will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2290 Heath Pond Road, Elgin, S.C. 29045. Mrs. Gregor passed away at home on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Born in Obertshausen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann and Ernestine Scherer. She was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting, and animals (particularly her beloved pet dog, “Max”). She is survived by her husband who she dearly loved, Gene Gregor; daughters, Peggy Fulton (Doug) of Lugoff and Leila Stack (Frank) of Lugoff; sisters, Anita Schnur and Luise Seifferman; and 3 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister; and 2 brothers.
