I am so sorry for your loss. God has gained another lovely angel. Just remember that one day ya'll will see her again and that God will always be with ya'll through the good days and the bad days. He has his loving arms around ya'll now and forever. I just want ya'll to know that Stephanie loved your mom and wife. She learned so much under her in math. Stephanie knew that she cared for her and all her students. I know that she is going to be missed by all the students that she has touched. I will miss seeing her at the football games. She was a trip to watch at a football game. So my girls and I just want everyone to know that we love ya'll and that everyone is in our thoughts and prayers. God bless each and everyone of ya'll

Mrs. Mathis was an AWESOME lady. I always knew I could count on her if I needed any help with anything. She always knew how to explain things and not make the bad seem so bad. She took so much time to ensure that her students learned everything in their own way.She always talked about her children, Will & Jacob & her husband who was in the military. She would always show us pictures from different places he'd traveled and just made our day at school so much better by all her stories. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Jim & the boys. May God wrap his arms around you each & comfort you during the difficult days ahead.

I'm a United Methodist so carry this quote by John Wesley in my heart and I am reminded that Charlene did just this and the world is a much better place because she did!
“Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.”
~ John Wesley
It was a great privilege to know her and to have gotten to work with her for the past 10 years. She has raised two fine boys and for that alone she has left this world a better place than when she entered it.

What a loss we all have suffered, but what a JEWEL Heaven has gained! For reasons we may never know, God decided it was time to call his daughter home. Her number one goal in life was to be with her Lord and Savior one day, and she has met her goal! It's so comforting to know that death IS NOT the END, but the BEGINNING!! Her life has truly begun now! Praise God! I pray for comfort and peace for the family that only God can give. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.
Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which surpasses ALL comprehension, WILL guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Charlene's life was a reflection of God's love. She was so precious and a dear friend. I enjoyed our time together when we served in the nursery at church. In my mind I can just picture her playing on the floor with the babies. I will surely miss her as I know everyone will. I pray the God will give the family peace and comfort in knowing that they will see her again some day and will rejoice with her in heaven.
