ELGIN – A service to celebrate the life of Dennis Wayne Robinson, Sr., 62, will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Smyrna United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 Fair Street, Camden, S.C. 29020. Mr. Robinson died on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Born in Cecil, Md., he was the son of the late Alfred and Jane Maisel Robinson. He served in the United States Navy and was a Registered Nurse. He was a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church and was a Master Mason. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and cooking. Surviving are his wife, Mary Lee Piggott Robinson; son, Dennis Wayne Robinson Jr. and his wife, Grace of Elgin; 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Katelyn and Nikolas; 2 sisters; and 6 brothers.
