LUGOFF – Funeral service for Clarence Branham, 88, will be held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Eric Boone and the Rev. Doug Whitfield will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00-2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 836 Pine Grove Road, Lugoff, SC 29078. Mr. Branham, husband of the late Clarice Branham, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at KershawHealth. Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late Andrew David and Lila Mae Bowen Branham. He served in the United States Merchant Marines during WW II and the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and the Young at Heart Senior Citizens. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children, Earl Branham of Lugoff, Don Branham (Debbie) of Lugoff, Tammy Davis (Alan) of Camden, and Tina Branham of Lugoff; sisters, Alether Gleaton and Betty Medlin; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Walter Branham, Murdic Branham and Albert Branham; and sisters, Inez Taylor and Mattie Osbourne.
