CAMDEN – Funeral services for James Furman Wilson, 88, will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Wilson, husband of the late Bonnie L. Wilson, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Born in Kershaw County, he was the son of the late James Mark and Jannie B. Collins Wilson. He enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. Surviving are his Children, Sandra Myers (Ronnie), Linda Lever (Vernon), Raymond H. Wilson, Vicky Harper (Clinton), Paul Wilson (Renee) and Jamie Ogles (Terry) brothers, Cleve Wilson, William L. Wilson; Lewis “Sparky” Wilson; sisters, Geneva Paul, Margaret Reyes, and Alma Griffin; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Huey Wilson; and a sister, Virginia Brazell. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Abbey Road Hospice, for the care and attention they provided to Mr. Wilson.
