Obituary of Lee Y. Cutler

LUGOFF - Funeral service for Lee Young Cutler, 40, will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Worship Center, Camden with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Casey Mills and Rev. Don Goude will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, December 21, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Bethel Worship Center, 812 Fair Street, Camden, S.C. 29020. Lee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Born in Fairfield California, Travis Airforce Base, he was a son of Michael Young Cutler and Janice Marie Hilty Mabie. He was a 1992 graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. He was formerly a volunteer with Kool 102.7 as a public service announcer. An avid sports fan, Lee loved the Carolina Gamecocks, the Atlanta Braves, the Red Skins, and the Panthers. He was a member of Bethel Worship Center where he served as a greeter. Surviving are his parents, Mike and Drusilla Cutler of Lugoff, and Jan Mabie of Goshen, Ind.; foster parents, Glenn and Navolia Barlow; brother, Shaun Cutler (Jessica) of Pomaria, S.C.; sister, Wendy Miller (Jason) of Goshen, Ind.; step-brother, Mike Weatherford (Robin Hyman) of Lugoff; aunt, Diane Hearn (Chuck); uncles, Stephen Cutler (Julie), and Kenneth Cutler (Ann Monroe); nieces and nephews, Nora and Quinn Cutler, Kane White, Gage Miller, Isabell Miller, Samantha Weatherford, Amber Weatherford, Paul Michael and Zachary Weatherford; and seven cousins. He was predeceased by an uncle, Jack Cutler; and grandparents, William and Lucille Cutler, Rudorph and Viola Burke, and Colonel Richard Hilty.
