Shirley Industrious Thorn CAMDEN – Funeral services for Shirley Industrious Thorn, 51, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Greater Faith and Joy Tabernacle with burial follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Vivian Norwood will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Evangelistic Community Center at 1408 McRae Rd, Camden, SC 29020. Mrs. Thorn passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Born in Bronx, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Eric Industrious Sr. and Shirley Truesdale. Mrs. Thorn was a member of the Evangelistic Community Center. Surviving are her husband, David Thorn; children, Sean Industrious (Felicia) of Lugoff, Shayla Dow (Edward Cross) of Camden; grandchildren; Tirek Pate, Armoni Jones, Chasity Industrious, Aiyden Dow; brothers, Eric Industrious of Savannah, GA, Chris Industrious of Bronx, N.Y.; and a sister, Erica Industrious, of the Virgin Islands.
