ELGIN – Funeral Mass for Edmund John Dillon, 56, will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Camden. The Rev. Father John Zimmerman will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Mr. Dillon passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015. Born in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of the late William Vincent and Mary Veronica Novak Dillon. He was an avid S.A. Spurs and USC Gamecocks fan and enjoyed reading. Surviving are his wife, April Patricia Woodward Dillon; children, James Edmund Dillon, Steven Ray Dillon (Tammy), Robin Diane Dillon, and Melissa Nicole Dillon; step-children, Jasmine Rae Jackson and Evan Love Jackson; brothers, Charles Dillon, Joseph Dillon and William Dillon; sisters, Dorothy Dillon, Veronica Dix, and Theresa Dillon Beaty; and 4 grandchildren.
