Obituary of William H. Hall
LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of William Harmon “Billy” Hall, 68, will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020.
Mr. Hall passed away on Sunday morning, February 22, 2015. Born in Camden, he was the son of Margaret Brown Hall and the late James Clarence Hall Sr. He retired from Dupont and formally operated SteamMaster of Lugoff-Elgin. He loved sharing the gift of laughter and was known for his humorous personality. He enjoyed restoring Ford Mustangs, landscaping his yard and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Trudy Boykin Hall; children, William C. Hall of Lexington, Deedee H. Cox, and B. Russell Hall of Lugoff; mother, Margaret Hall of Camden; brothers, James C. Hall Jr. (Linda) of Lugoff, Benny Hall (Irene) of Camden, Ronnie Hall of Camden and Bobby Hall of Lugoff; sister, Linda Ellis (Sidney) of Camden; brother-in-law, Charles Small; and grandchildren, Taylor, Tripp and Trevor Cox, Tabitha, Hannah and Cameron Hall, and Tanner, Tate and Wyatt Hall. He was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Small.
