I did not have the privilege of knowing this gentleman but reading his commentary regarding his life and his final journey are inspiring. May God continue to bless you, his family, and may you find joy and smiles each time you reread this love note from him to you.

Love you all. So thankful for the friendship memories of Ronger. He was a good boss too. Loved the personal letter from Ronger to all of his friends and family that summarized his view of his precious life. We didn't know about the visitation until afterwards. So sorry that we missed seeing you face to face. I pray that God continues to give you comfort in the days ahead. Sweet peace to you all.

I believe God drew my eye to Mr. Truesdale's first person obituary today. This would have been my granddaughter's second birthday, but she was stillborn. In my sadness, Mr. Truesdale gave me some smiles and wonderful advice. He also brought tears as he talked about fishing with his daddy, for my daddy is also gone and I believe I will do that someday, too. To his family members....he must have been a wonderful man to have written this with love and humor and honesty. You were blessed to have had him. I am going to keep his obituary and read the last paragraphs often. May God be with you in the months and years ahead.

The words that are here is such a wonderful heartfelt message from such an admirable man, even in hurtful times he continued to put others before himself, he was so thankful of each love in his life, this definitely brought tears to my eyes and left a lasting message of how precious life is and should be cherished daily as he did, instead of complaining he chose to be thankful for each moment and that is such a Blessed Way to be, He will always be remembered as the wonderful caring kind person that God Blessed each of us with a better world just by allowing us to be a part of his life as family or friend, luv you all Linda Derek Aby James Iva Jody and his sweet momma Virginia

To the Truesdale family..... I did not personally know Ronger but I was so moved by his obituary that I had to let you know. That was the most beautiful thing I have ever read and it is so awesome that he was a witness for his faith and a messenger of hope and joy that only Christ can give. Prayers for Rongers family during this difficult time.

No words can convey our profound sadness at the loss of our brother and brother-in-law. Ronger was a joy to be around, displaying his laughter, wisdom, wit, and most of all friendliness. We will miss him, but will never forget the precious memories that he provided for us. May the entire family find comfort in a life well lived.

Dear Iva and family,
After reading the eloquently written summary of Ronger's life by his own hand, there is little that can be said by others, but please know that we are thinking of and praying for you all. He obviously was a true gentleman, loving husband, father, son, brother, brother in law, friend and amazing Christian. May God give you all the peace that He gave your dear Ronger. May God's blessings be with you always.
