CAMDEN – Funeral service for Linda Joy Taylor, 62, will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Wateree Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Ron Taylor and the Rev. Taylor Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the South Carolina Oncology Foundation. Ms. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Lynwood and Clariece Taylor. She was employed with KershawHealth at the West Wateree Complex. She was a member of Wateree Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting and cooking. Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Taylor Nam (John) of Centreville, Va.; sister, Teresa Taylor of Camden; brothers, Wesley Taylor of Camden, Robert Taylor (Laurie) of Columbia, and Philip Taylor (Rena) of Camden; and grandchildren, Scarlett Grace Nam and Calvin Lynwood Nam.
