ELGIN – Funeral service for Leroy David Crawford, 76, will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Miles and the Rev. George Cashwell will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Gideon’s International. Mr. Crawford passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Born in Rockingham, N.C., he was the son of the late David and Lottie Maybelle Murray Crawford. He was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping and wood working. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Huggins “Becky” Crawford; children, Ricky Crawford (Julie) and Ronald Crawford (Darlene) of Walterboro, David Crawford (Glenda) of Winter Haven, Fla.; step-daughter, April David (Keith) of Columbia; step-sons, Dwayne Huggins (Terry) of Charleston, S.C. and Dale Jolly (Michelle) of Pelion, S.C.; sister, Irma Alice Pratt of Goose Creek, S.C. 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Lacy Crawford and Harry Crawford; and sister, Mary Lee Etling.
