PATRICK – Funeral service to celebrate the life of Bonnie Jean Motley “Jeannie” Catoe, 82, will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Lugoff First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Lugoff First Baptist Church or Hospice of Chesterfield. Mrs. Catoe, wife of the late Eugene J. Catoe, died Thursday, December 6, 2012. Born in Chesterfield County, she was the daughter of the late John Knowlton and Juanita Winburn Motley. She was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church where she was the pianist for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking and caregiving family and friends. Surviving are her son, Jerry W. Catoe (Stephanie) of Lugoff; daughter, Pat Fuller of Patrick; brothers, Fletcher Motley of Camden and Campbell Motley of Virginia; daughter-in-law, Wanda Catoe of Lugoff; grandchildren, Ron Catoe Jr., Rhonda Richardson, Amy Catoe, Kelly Catoe, Kyle King, Brent King, Samantha Catoe, Rocky C. Burns, Chesnee Catoe, Joey Burns, and Emily Catoe; 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Ronnie “Monk” Catoe; daughter and son-in-law, Jean Ann and Tony King; and brothers, J.K. Motley and Roger Motley.
