LUGOFF – A visitation to celebrate the life of George Monroe Taylor, 54, will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Taylor passed away Friday, November 07, 2014. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Zelma Timmons Boulware, and the late John Taylor III. Mr. Taylor worked at Cardinal Newman High School in the maintenance department for over 20 years. He enjoyed Fishing and NASCAR. Surviving are his mother, Zelma Boulware of Lugoff; sister, Peggy Spires (Terry) of West Columbia; brother, James Boulware, Jr. (Sheila) of Lugoff; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; step-father, James Boulware, Sr.; and a brother, Richard W. Taylor.
