ELGIN – A Celebration of Life service for Dawn Harper Scarano, 54, will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. at 706 Goat Hill Road, Ridgeway, S.C. 29130. The family will receive friends following the service. Ms. Scarano passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Born in West Columbia, she was a daughter of Faye Madden Harper and the late Harrison Harper. Ms. Scarano attended El-Bethel Faith Community Church. She enjoyed going on trips to the lake and the beach, and watching races at the dragstrip. Surviving are her mother, Fay Harper; son, Anthony Scarano II; daughter, Diana Catoe; sister, Lissa Lumpuy; and a brother, Timothy Harper; and 4 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Scott Harper.
