ELGIN – Funeral service for Sabrina Christine Raines, 44, will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Raines passed away on Sunday Morning, October 5, 2014 after a long battle with cancer in which she fought hard until the end. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Terri Scott Pendarvis and the late Joseph O. Pendarvis. She worked for the South Carolina Judicial Department. Surviving are her husband, John Robert Raines; mother, Terri Pendarvis of Lubbock, Texas; and son, Jordan Raines.
