LUGOFF - Funeral service for Samuel Paul “Sam” Haddix, 81, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hardshell Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Springdale Health Care Center. Mr. Haddix died Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Born in Middletown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Kelly and Ethel Cassidy Haddix. He retired from GE as an Engineer. An avid golfer, he was a member of Becket Ridge Country Club in West Chester, Ohio. He attended The River Church, and enjoyed gardening and cooking. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Brent and Kathy Haddix of Franklin, Tenn., and Michael Allen and Ruth Haddix of Beaver Creek, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Laura Michelle and Kenneth Robert Glenn; grandchildren, Kari Neff, Samantha Haddix, Joseph Haddix, Peter Haddix, James Haddix, and Kyle Glenn.
