Donna Lynne Guthrie ELGIN – Services for Donna Lynne Guthrie, 71, will be private. Mrs. Guthrie passed away September 25, 2014. Born in Tucson, AZ, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Ann Gilpin. Mrs. Guthrie received her Bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Arizona. She enjoyed gardening and boating. Surviving are her husband of 47 years, John Charles Guthrie; sons, Brett Guthrie of Colorado Springs, CO, and Trent Guthrie and his wife, Cassie of St. Joe, MO; and a brother, Terry Gilpin. She was predeceased by a sister, Dianne Talbot.
