ELGIN – Funeral service for Robert Haskell “Rocky” Ellis, 61, will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Ellis died Saturday, December 1, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Curtis Ansel and Alice Annie May Sloan Ellis. Surviving are his children, Catherine Ellis, Lisa Smith, Robert Ellis Jr., and Christopher Ellis; brother, Bud Ellis; sisters, Mary Neeley and Virginia Seals; and grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Nicholas Smith and Amily Delk. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Michael Ellis.
