Obituary of Timothy Massey

Columbia – A memorial service for Timothy James Massey, 61, will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

Mr. Massey passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025.  Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Robert James Goodwin and Betty Ann Massey. He was a member of Sanders Creek Baptist Church.  He enjoyed listening to oldies music and dancing.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Cindy T. Massey and LaWanda L. Massey; brother, Maurice Neal (Debra); nephews, Terrence T. Massey of Columbia and Tykeeme D. Massey of Camden; nieces, Da’Notra J. Johnson and Gloria B. Johnson, both of Camden; 3 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; and best friend for life, Deacon Willie Reid and Mr. Gerald J. Custus.
