Obituary of William E. Campbell

LUGOFF- A  celebration of life service for William Edward Campbell, 70, will be held Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Eric Boone will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.

    Mr. Campbell passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Willie and Reola Dowey Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing softball.

    Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Barbara Gaskins Campbell; sons, William “Cheese” Campbell, Jr. of Lugoff, Jason Campbell of Charlotte, N.C., Paul Seals (Kristie) of Kershaw; daughter, Beth Seals of Cassatt; grandchildren, Reagan, Blake, Tia, Amaya, Paul, Julie, Rhett; great-grandchildren, Matty and Blake; and a special cousin, Vivian Gardner. He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Arledge.
