LUGOFF - Funeral service for Wayne G. Barwick, 86, will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Methodist Church with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. Pastor Stewart Kidd will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Methodist Church.

Mr. Barwick passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Born in Columbus, Ga., he was the son of the late Gregory Barwick and Irene Hearn Barwick.

Surviving is his wife, Lynette Miles Smith; daughters, Crystal Wunderlich (Lawrence) and Georgia D. Harris; grandchildren, Christopher Harris (Sarah), Tiffany Harris, and Ethan Harris; great-grandchildren, Aiden Harris, Katelyn Harris, Riley Harris, and Paisley Harris; stepchildren, Walter Smith (Suzy), Miles Smith (Windy), and Greg Smith (Janette); step grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Daniel Smith (Gabby), Julie Smith, Peggy Smith, Ariel Swails (Casey), Scott Smith (Katelyn), Zach Smith (Josie), and Becca Smith; sister, Eleanor Willis (Steve) and John Barwick (Denise). He was predeceased by his first wife, Hellon Barbee Barwick; and son, Mark Barwick.
