Obituary of Aeris Odell Halley

CAMDEN- A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Aeris Odell Halley, 60, will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10-12 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mr. Halley passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024. Born in Bishopville, he was a son of the late Hirtrell Halley and Bessie Green Halley. Mr. Halley enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and building.

    Surviving are his wife, Cathy McDonald; daughter, Aerica Mims of Sumter; siblings, Lou Bertha Kershaw (Eddie), Debra Burris (Hazel), Gloria Halley, Cleo Halley, Terry Halley (Teresa), Darryl Halley (Shakeema), Shawn Halley; grandchildren, Kayden Mims, A’Nylah Bradford, Jayce Bradford, Carter Bradford; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by sisters, Bernice Louise Burris, Jacqualine Halley, and Connie Halley.
