Obituary of Joyce Napper Nelson

LUGOFF – A funeral service for Martha Joyce Gail Napper Nelson, 61, will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Raymond Sellers will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

     Joyce passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of Faye Deen Norris Napper and the late Harry Napper; the granddaughter of the late Elizabeth Cameron and Harvey Norris; and the great granddaughter of Rev. Cameron (Esther)

Joyce enjoyed watching T.V., being with her friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.

    Surviving are her daughter, Kelly Johnson of Lugoff; mother, Faye Napper of Lugoff; grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Olivia Nelson; sister, Jill Jordan of Camden; special niece, Jordan Man; special nephews, Jonathan Mann, Jeff McIntosh; special great nieces, Alexandria McIntosh, Natalia McIntosh, Emery Mann, Rylee Mann; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and aunts. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Margaret Elizabeth Cameron Norris and Harvey Cecil Norris, Martha Railey Napper and Ira Napper and great grandparents, Rev. Cameron and Hester.
