Paul Raymond Slojewski, 80 - Born July 1, 1944 - Died November 15, 2024




Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Franz and Jennie Slojewski. He graduated from Frankfort High School in June 1963 and enlisted in United States Air Force in September. He was sent to weapons school in Colorado after basic training and deployed to Vietnam in '64. He served 4 years and was stationed in Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and received his honorable discharge in North Carolina in 1967.




His career as a Logistics Engineer started in 1967 with RCA in the service department and ended with Lockheed Martin in 2009. Throughout his career he received many promotions, accommodations and diligently worked on DOD contracts and designed weapons systems including AEGIS, a system our current Navy fleet still uses in their destroyers and fighter jets.




He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth; his daughter, Christine (Vinny); three grandchildren, Anthony (Kim), Angelina, Ava; and sister, Wanda. He was predeceased by his parents, Franz and Jennie Slojewski; brothers, Raymond, John and Edward.




Services will be held at a later date at Bethany Luthern Church in Palmyra, New Jersey, with burial to follow in the Memorial Garden.
