Melissa Latrese Williams, 49, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 07, 2024. Born on January 31, 1975, in Kershaw County, SC, she was the daughter of Nathaniel and Delores English Williams. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Rembert. Melissa enjoyed reading romance novels and watching T.V.

Left to cherish her memory is her parents, Nathaniel Williams and Delores Williams; siblings, Melinda Ray (Jermaine) of Columbia, Donte Williams (Latonya) of Columbia; former spouse, Keon Dow and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members.

A memorial service honoring the life of Mrs. Williams will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Powers Funeral Home at 5:00 pm. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Rev. Lilian Williams will be officiating.
