Iris Lynn Basile, 68 passed away on November 4, 2024, while in the care of White Oak Manner Nursing Home in Newberry, South Carolina. An original resident of Brook Park, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Basile and her father, Willis Brian Sluss.

She is survived by her mother, June D. Sluss of Irmo; daughter, Tina Marie Lewis; son-in-law, Edward, granddaughters, Peyton and Harper of Chapin.

She had a loving and kind spirit and loved the Lord, her family, friends and her cat Cinnamon. She could often be heard quoting her favorite bible verse, Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

She was a member of Columbia Road Baptist Church, North Olmsted, OH

A private burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery, North Olmsted, OH.
