Obituary of Evora Jackson Price

CAMDEN- A graveside service for Evora Jackson Price, 92, will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Dean Elliott will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Make A Wish Foundation or the Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome Foundation.

Mrs. Price passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Born in Dillon, SC, she was a daughter of the late Earl J. Jackson and Catherine Ann McInnis Jackson. Mrs. Price was a member of Cassatt Baptist Church. She had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader, especially when it came to her Bible.

Surviving are her children, Jeff David Price III, (Gena), Wendy Jackson (Randy), Lynn West (Dennis), Cynthia Price Stone; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant daughter; grandchildren, Greg West, Christopher Stone; and siblings, Aileen Jackson Atkinson, Lorraine Jackson Atkinson, Clayton Watson Jackson and Horace Jackson.

The family extends a special thanks to the nurses, CNAs and staff at The Karesh at Beechwood for their care and love to Mrs. Price.
